Jackson County Recycling: Encouraging Sustainability Through Recycling
The Jackson County Conservation District is one part of a large contingency of Conservation Districts. There are 77 Conservation Districts throughout Michigan (Michigan Association of Conservation Districts) that are part of a larger network of national Conservation Districts (National Association of Conservation Districts). Together, these Conservation Districts operate under the guiding principle that decisions on conservation issues should be made at the local level, by local people, with technical assistance provided by government.
Who are we?
The Jackson County Conservation District is working with Jackson County to increase knowledge on what, how, and where to recycle. Together, we are increasing educational resources and providing answers for your recycling questions. Educational resources include monthly newsletters, occasional presentations, school visits, and this website.
